One Day Rail Trail Package
Short on time but big on ambition? No problem! We can custom design an all-inclusive one-day Otago Central Rail Trail package to work with your availability and your budget.
Just let us know where you want to start from, where you want to end up and what you’d like to see in the middle and then sit back and let our travel guru’s do their thing.
Our one-day packages include bike hire, helmet, gel seat, pannier, bike light, and we-hope-you’ll-never-need-them repair kits and transport to your start point (if required). Our one-day Central Otago Rail Trail packages start from as little as $90 per person.
Three Day Rail Trail Package
If you’re fit, used to spending hours on a bike and laugh at riding 50 kilometres a day, the three day itinerary will suit you down to the gravel.
You’ll spend two nights on the trail exploring the delights of Waipiata and Lauder. A Waipiata highlight is a famous-in-New Zealand Waipiata gourmet pie, and in Lauder it’s the stunning night skies. Your three day Otago Central Rail Trail package starts from as little as $365pp (Budget), $425pp (Charming) or $515pp (Deluxe)*.

Four Day Rail Trail Package
Four-days means you'll travel at a more relaxed pace. You'll still cover between 35 - 40 kilometres a day (around four hours cycling) but you'll have a bit more time to stop and explore.
You’ll spend three nights on the trail staying in Omakau or the nearby gold-mining hamlet of Ophir; Oturehua, Wedderburn or the charming village of Naseby (home to curling) and either Hyde, Waipiata, Kokonga, Macraes or Middlemarch.
Four days gives you plenty of time to soak up the scenery, stop for a latte or two and generally be at one with your surroundings. Your four-day Otago Central Rail Trail package starts from as little as $480pp (Budget), $590pp (Charming) or $765pp (Deluxe)*.

Five Day Rail Trail Package
A five-day adventure will have you cycling around two and half to three and a half hours each day. Perfect for people looking for leisurely starts, relaxed rides and long lunches; and is recommended for families travelling with younger riders, and anyone
re-introducing their rear to a bike seat after a
long time apart.
You’ll spend four nights on the trail, staying in Omakau or the nearby gold-mining hamlet of Ophir; Oturehua, then Ranfurly or Naseby (the curling capital of NZ); and either Hyde, Waipiata, Kokonga, Macraes or Middlemarch.
Your five day Otago Central Rail Trail package starts from as little as $620pp (Budget), $765pp (Charming) or $855pp (Deluxe)*.
